Which size should I choose?
Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail while they sleep stretched out, then add 15 cm. Between sizes? Go up — dogs like to sprawl. See the size guide for examples by breed.
How do I wash the cover?
Unzip it, turn it inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Line dry in the shade. The waterproof liner keeps the foam dry, so you only ever wash the cover. Never wash the foam.
Is it good for older dogs with sore joints?
The two-layer foam is designed to spread weight and keep joints off the floor, and The Low Mattress has no step up. We're not vets, so if your dog has a condition, ask yours what they recommend.
Do covers fit every bed?
Covers fit any Sunpatch bed of the same shape and size. A medium Sunpatch Bed cover fits any medium Sunpatch Bed, in any fabric.
What if my dog doesn't use it?
Give it a couple of weeks — new beds smell new. If after 100 nights it still isn't their spot, contact us and we'll arrange a return.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship from Sydney within 1–2 business days. Most metro addresses receive them in 2–5 business days, regional areas in 4–8. Delivery is free on orders over $150.
What does the warranty cover?
If the foam flattens or loses its shape with normal use within five years, we'll replace the foam insert. Covers are covered for 12 months against manufacturing faults.
My dog chews. Will it survive?
No bed is chew-proof. Canvas is the toughest of our fabrics, and a spare cover costs less than a new bed.
